You don’t have to wait until a spring clean to get organised!
This August, we are looking at #organisedspaces, particularly hair and beauty products. Below are some handy hints we have picked up.
Save or Toss
It is easy to collect many products that you don’t use, so we recommend that you should follow this Save or Toss chart first.
Organize what you own
Now you know what you want to keep, it’s time to arrange it so you can find things better. Try using a stationary organizer like the one below for your products. If you can’t access or find something easily your products are wasted.
Perfumes bottles are a beautiful object to keep on your dresser. Try arranging them on a cake stand to save space and show them off.
There are plenty of small adaptions you can make yourself that don’t involve a total home renovation!
One little trick for storing your bobby pins or metal hairclips is to buy a magnetic strip from somewhere like Officeworks and attach it to the inside of your vanity unit.
You can also try this idea from Martha Stuart’s website.
Buy some metal sheeting and attach it behind your shelve. Then attach magnets to small containers, saving valuable space.
This was just a small list to get you started. We would love to see how you organise your space, especially hair and beauty products.
Share an idea with us, and you will go in the draw to win a True Hue Treatment in our salon!
